This position is responsible for assisting in and coordinating recreational, educational and competitive ice skating at Goggin Ice Center and participating in program development. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. Position reports to the Director of Programming at Goggin Ice Center and works directly with the other members of the Goggin Ice Center Staff. Basic qualifications include: Undergraduate degree in related discipline (by hire date) or equivalent experience. Successful experience in teaching Group and Private Lessons. Some background in Synchronized Skating. Knowledge of ISI and USFS programs, rules, policies and procedures. ISI/USFS/PSA Professional memberships. ISI Gold Judging certification. Posted 04.29   I am currently the General Manager for a Community Center which houses one sheet of ice and an outdoor pool. I have 2 years experience as the General Manager and have 5+ years experience in the arena industry and Parks and Recreation field. I currently handle all building and ice maintenance for our arena. I have experience with ice scheduling and employee scheduling. I work hands on with our hockey association and our figure skating club. I have been on the planning and setup of our annual Ice Show which is in it's 38th year and is rated as one of the best in the area.
