STAR Member Question of the Week

I have been asked by one of our sponsors about tinting the ice for a feature night. Is this something that is relatively easy to do and remove after the event? It's something I've never attempted and I'm just trying to find out how difficult it will be. Any advice would be much appreciated.

This is Serving The American Rinks

Serving The American Rinks (STAR) is a non-profit membership association for facilities, individuals and vendors in the ice rink industry.  STAR provides education and resources to help improve operational efficiencies, safety and the sustainability of ice skating facilities in the United States.

 

STAR was created in 2000 as a joint venture between U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey to “Foster the development, growth, and success of ice rinks in the United States."

 

RINK Magazine is STAR’s official publication.  RINK is “the insider’s magazine on ice rink operations” and is the most widely read publication in the industry.  RINK is distributed bi-monthly to over 3,000 facilities, individuals and vendors.
